James Williams |
Mr. Williams graduated from Millsaps College in 1968 with a BA degree in Mathematics. From 1968 to 1972, Mr. Williams taught high school
Mathematics at the Biloxi Municipal Separate School District in Biloxi, Mississippi where he also served a Department Chairman for three
years. Mr. Williams became a licensed Real Estate Broker in 1973. He started his own company in 1975, and for the following 10 years
served in many capacities within his home Association of Jackson, Mississippi. He has taught in the G.R.I. Cadre, conducted numerous
Pre-License reviews, instructed in continuing education, and participated in Real Estate seminars consulting firm.
In 1984, Mr. Williams joined Collier Black as Executive Publisher of Marcol Publishers of Memphis, Tennessee to develop REALTORŪ
Association endorsed Real Estate publications. After the sale of Marcol Publishers in 1990, Black, Williams & Associates was formed as
a Real Estate publishing company.
Mr. Williams has been a featured speaker at many national meetings including the National Association of REALTORŪ and the Newspaper
Association of America. His clientele ranges from local REALTORŪ Associations, State Associations, daily newspapers, as well as
national publishing groups. In 1999 he formed The Real Estate Institute for the purpose of offering quality Continuing Education
for Real Estate practitioners. He currently resides in Panama City Beach, FL
